Shake it Like a Polaroid Picture.

On the Tuesday after Christmas, my true love gave to me.... A Nikon D3100.

Yes, this was the year of photography. For those of you who are not privy, J and I do not exchange presents Christmas day (aside from helping Santa with each others stockings). Instead, we pool the money we would have otherwise spent on smaller gifts for each other, combine it with the Christmas moolah we get from others, and buy ourselves something nice and pretty. Last year it was a memory foam mattress and a desk (which will come in handy in my new job!) and this year it was a camera.

This is the little fella I have been using to document our lives. And while he lasted me a good 4 years, it was high time for a little upgrade. And thus, the Nikon D3100 was brought into the Recor house. I am still learning a lot about this handsome guy, and I promise after I come back from playing with him for days and days, I will post some pictures of Oklahoma, planes, Calvin, and everything else. Possibly shoes. Who knows.

What did you get for Christmas???

PS I did not forget about you faithful blog readers, you are the reason I get on this computer every day. However, the last ten days, I have had my husband all to myself, so I have been taking advantage of the drop in airplane talk, and increase in cuddle time. As things start to get back to normal in the new year, I will be back. Almost daily. XOXO

IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! I can't WAIT to see what you document! And feel free to document your shoes. Goodness knows that I have.

I'm so quick with the commenting. :]

PS: Why is my blog still entitled "our [unconventional] so-called life" on the right of your blog? Under the "follow" section? Strange! Blogspot needs to get on top of it!
