Chicks as in these little cuties who are stocked at our local Atwoods. If only we had a house that backed up to trees... we might have brought a few of these babies home.
Hot as in, it's not. It's spring. And while I'm sure I have been experiencing better weather than some of you, it's not very spring like this week. Gray. Cold. Rainy, but not in the "Singing in the rain" / "April Showers" way, the Cat in the Hat / Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
I'm all for rain, if it's going to help flowers grow. But this stuff is killing the flowers that were brave enough to come out last week.
Don't get me wrong, winter is arguably my favorite season, but I'm done with the gray. I had a teaser of 80 degrees, and I'm ready for that. I'll even go for some good thunder stormin, tornado weather. But don't tell J I said that, that means he can't fly!
Who else is ready for a new season?
PS tune in this week for a BIG announcement!
PPS I'm not pregnant. I feel like I should start prefacing all big announcements with that, because people always seem so disappointed when I tell them I'm not preggers. You have to WAIT.

People love to believe you've turned into a baby making machine. No. Not yet. Definitely later. But not yet. :]
Right! I want kids. One day. I really do. But not now. I promise, it won't be for a few years. People need to chiiiiillll out. :)
Oh dear, Mallory! I feel where you are coming from. As soon as Peter and I got married, we started getting the "so when's the baby coming" questions. And on top of that, I can't drink right now, so that is raising some eyebrows.
Also, I feel that the last sentence of the PPS was written like a command to Duke :)
Oh Shawna, you mean I'm not the only one who wasn't trying to get pregnant as soon as we walked down the isle?! Strange.
Haha poor you with your no drinking. That's got to make it even worse.
:)
might your be referring to your neighbor? trust me, you don't want chicken's! at least not right now! they are messy and duke might have too much fun with the little presents they leave all over the yard!!! although, matt said we got TWO eggs today! you might even get to have some!
YES! I love you mal!!! I want it to be hot here, it's so cold!
